Our Search feature lets you search your data from anywhere within Rebilly and navigate throughout your account, without ever having to touch the mouse. 

From whatever screen you’re on, you can click on the search bar at the top of the screen: 

You can search by customer name, email, or customer/order ID, among other things. Once you start typing, you’ll see suggestions to help you find the information you’re looking for: 

You can use the following parameters to search:  

  • Narrow by object type by using “is:” (for example, “is:customer” or “is:invoice”)
  • Find objects within a certain date range by using “date:”
  • Use “page:” to navigate to a certain page within your account (Checkout pages, for example)
  • Find orders or invoices in a specific currency with “currency:” or for a certain amount (or within an amount range) with “amount:”
  • Search by customer name (first or last), Paypal username, email, first six digits of a payment card, and first or last four digits of a payment card
  • Find orders that involve a specific product or plan by searching with “product:” or “plan:”
  • Find orders that used a specific coupon code by searching with “coupon:” 

The Id and payment card fields require you to enter exact matches, while the email, first name and last name will work with partial matches, as long as the customer’s values start with your search query. You can also use “first6” and “last4” with partial bin searches. 

We’ve also created the search function to be easily used with shortcuts, for even more efficiency. The search keyboard shortcuts are: 

  • “S” to start a new search
  • Arrow keys to navigate between the results you want
  • Enter or tab to select a result and be taken to the corresponding result/information
  • Enter or tab will also autocomplete any suggestion you have highlighted, or the first suggestion if you don’t have any suggestion highlighted 
  • Esc to exit the search menu
